We are Lucent Photography, a small, but growing, team of talented and passionate photographers, each with their own approach, style, tastes, and backgrounds. Together we've built a brand that revolves around trust, around enthusiasm, around a love for what we do. We promise to work hard, to have fun, and exceed your expectations.

We understand that you expect more from us than simply capturing moments - our job is to tell a story. A story that speaks to people, that clearly conveys a message and an emotion. We'll cut to the chase: we do the best job each and every time we get behind the lens.

Photography has always been Erica's passion - even as a little girl, her summers were spent taking countless family photos with her 110 camera.

With years of experience in both film and digital formats, Erica has found a unique voice and style that has very much become her way of communicating the world around her.

Jami Carlson
co-founder of lucent

Jami is an amazingly versatile photographer. She has been refining her craft since she was a teenager, has experience in various formats, and is a master in the dark room.

Her favorite styles range from dark-and-touching to playful-and-whimsical. She is active in several ongoing photography projects, including the US 12 project.
